Snow and more snow....and Gout

Well another snow and this time about 6 inches or so on top of what we already had. It was a very pretty snow.

TC getting her hair done. We go to Mark of Eden which is owned by a church member and another member works there as well. I always have a hoot when we go there.

I just can't get over how Belle and Brother plays together...

And, Miss TC made us a cherry cobbler with some Vanilla ice cream to top it. Very good!!!

So, my gout has returned and with a vengeance. I have taken my medicine and have tried to stay off of it as much as possible. I hope it goes away quickly!!!!!!!!!

There are so many reasons that I am so thankful to be the Pastor of Warrensville Baptist Church, and one of those is being a fireman again. I really don't know how long I can do it, but I for sure want to do as long as I can...

32 Years

February 12th 2015, TC and I celebrated 32 years of marriage. On our 30th, we were able to take a cruise...

Sad to say but this year TC was not up to doing anything. Her health is not what it should be, although we are hoping and praying that the doctors find the cause very soon. Instead, I cooked a meal of Hamburger steak, Ribs and baked potato, with grilled onions. We enjoyed the meal and it was nice just sitting around talking about old times.

So, once again we had a wonderful Anniversary....

Responding to fire call

Boy has it been busy. since my last post much has happened. For example, at Christmas time, Chad drove 4 hours to spend a few hours with us and then drive home. That was awesome because our daughter was not here either. Church has continued to go well, although it seems the enemy wants to continue reminding us of things that are wrong, instead of us glorying in what god has made right. I pray that more and more comes to know the importance of following God and not pleasing man.
In January we had the Peacemaker training which turned out to be excellent. Eddie Thompson from BSCNC came to speak at the conference and we are continuing the study on Wednesday nights.
Of course one of the greatest things we learned is that our daughter Christie is pregnant. We are gong to be grandparents. Yes, we already are but we never get to see John. David and Christie came out to visit and Christie stayed an additional week. We are so excited that they are coming to live with us in May. Well, that about catches things up. I end this way because as time goes on and I go back to read these posts, I like to remind myself why I have not kept up like i should. anyway, that's all for now..

.Below is a pic we took on Christie's last day with us on this visit.
