Palm Sunday

So, we got just a dusting here prior to Easter. Not much snow but the low temps have killed a lot of spring flowers.

This past Sunday we had our 5th Sunday Fellowship Meal. The WOM used it for a fundraiser. Once again all was great...

I never thought that snow and daffodils went with each other, but I guess it happens.

Oh so good...

Well I had my colonoscopy today, and everything turned out really good. the doctor said I was clean as a whistle. better yet, afterwards we went straight to hell generals and that was one of the best biscuits I've ever had in my life. excited to go be with my church family tonight.

It's Time

I have come to that point in time in my life, where a certain test has been ordered by my doctor. tomorrow I will receive a colonoscopy, which I do not look forward to, but is needed. This is coming on the heels of a major virus which has left me somewhat weak, however I am more than happy to get this over with. thank God the virus is gone and I'm feeling much better. I have tried to get some planning work done this morning, and make several phone calls, which is the best I can do today and in the best interest of everyone else. that is all

Sick puppy

The bug got me on Saturday and even to the point that I had to miss church on Sunday.  I hate that but it is wonderful to have people in the church that can pick up the ball and run with it

This week has had its issues. It started with a pulled muscle in my back. That has followed me all week. Currently, I am using ice and strong pain pills to relieve the hurt, but I will make it OK. Being a Pastor sometimes you have to deal with some pretty sad things and this week that has come about. Some people face things in such a victorious way. It is truly a blessing!!!

The journey continues with TC and her health. One day it seems it is getting better and then bam, she has a bad day. It gets tiresome at times but we must journey on...

Each day I am trying to work on filling some blanks on the schedule of many different projects. Barbecue fundraisers, mission trips, VBS, planning Revivals and many other things. I love it, it is about time for a break...

Ronald McDonald House 2015

So, here are some pics from Ronald McDonald House 2015. We had 30 people go this year and everyone of course did a great job. This year we prepared chicken Casserole and did lots of cleaning and sorting. This i an amazing one day Mission Trip

Now its time to get down to preparing for our VBS and two other Mission trips this summer, plus a Brotherhood trip to Red springs NC.....
