Memories & More

It is hard to believe that one year has passed since we left Warrensville Baptist Church. After being in the ministry for 13 straight years, 9 in Warrensville, it was time for a break. This time is longer if you county Collin's Children Home. I miss the folks at Warrensville and for that matter, Ashe County. I made so many friends and have so many memories and I thank God for that.

This is a Pic traveling East on 421 heading in to Deep Gap, while on my way to work at Ashe Medics.

Here, I was working under the night stand, trying to organize all the wires, and I look up and see this. Too funny!!!

I add this video from my YouTube channel of my last Sunday at Warrensville just to remember.

Sitting & Thinking

Looking back, I loved being a Fireman and I am thankful God allowed me to do so.

Today, I am thankful that God allows me to be a Paramedic.

Bitsy had a check up yesterday...All is good

March 23rd, First Grass cutting of the year.

Trying to cut back what our rental allowed to grow up. Gotta be careful because it get a bit swampy beyond this point.

Me and Bitsy sitting by the creek.

TC has spent the week in AZ with Debbie & Joanne, and she got to see her cousins and her brother Jimmy. Me and Jimmy always got along good. Man sure could play a guitar. She comes home on Saturday.

Sunrise & Sunset

One morning heading into work. What a great view. Rolling in the Jeep

So, Saturday we went to see my Nephew Matthew get married. He has worked so hard to make this happen. Matt is my son's Chad favorite cousin.

It was a really nice wedding

Here are some of the boy cousins... I'm so glad Chad got to go. This is from Lto R Chad, Tristan, Matthew, Jerry's son, and Lisa's boy.

TC and Nicky

Here are the sisters, Debbie sue, Bonny, Lisa and TC.

After the wedding, I went to Mom's and then headed home. Passing Waco Fire Dept on the way out of town.

Heading home there was an incredible Sunset

Me and Bailey

Now, this is my work Granddaughter. Lindsey and I went to the China buffett for supper. It was good

Last night, after making both of them get off my lap for a bit, they made their way on the couch, but what is funny, is how close they were laying..

Well, TC and Debbie flew out after the wedding Saturday to spend some time with their sister Joanne in  AZ. I am pretty much working every day she is gone but Thursday. Work work work...

Water leaks & Weight Watcher

Probably my all time favorite movie. Saw this pic and like it.

Goofing off at work...Pediatric pads(expired) placed on Jackson's calves. Funny to watch the muscles contract. Jackson is my little Catholic friend. He is so smart and has only been a Medic for a few months. Very Smart!!!

So, last Sunday we developed a water leak from the ground. Chad was here visiting and just happened to see it. I dug down and this is what I found.

The Valve itself was leaking, so my friend Tim came that afternoon (I was at Work) on a Sunday and replaced it. Water was turned back on and crisis averted.

T-Rex (my work partner), and I fixed Bratwurst and Sauerkraut, with a touch of mustard for lunch.

Me and Bailey just laying in the bed

And here comes Bitsy

Last few days have been stressful. Personal reasons, plus my check up at the VA was not great. All my numbers are up and so I must begin to exercise and watch what I eat. For sure !!!

Visit to Nanny's

Yesterday, we went down to spend some time with Nanny. Of courser, Chad is still there so that was a bonus too. We all had a good time and then went to Love's Fish Box. This past Wednesday (1st) was 2 years since Daddy passes away.

Bailey loves Nanny

Here at Loves' Fish Box in Kings Mtn.
