Medic and Managing

While we are continuing to move from Ash to Mitchell, I am continuing to work at both asthmatics and Mitchell medics. We have gotten a couple more loads in the house is really starting to feel like home. We should be completely moved in next week sometime.

Today I'm working at Mitchell and I had a visitor outside my door. Actually there are several dogs that hangs out because I'm pretty sure everyone feeds them...

A Message in the Midst of Moving

Today I was able to make a couple more visits as part of my effort of making some final visits. Miss Lewis and Ed/Geraldine. I also spent another hour or so at the church office helping to making the transition easier on the church secretary.

Another milestone was turning in my turnout gear and my jump bag to Warrensville Fire Dept. It is most possible, even probably that this will be my last Fire Dept I serve at. I've been a fireman since I was 16 years old, although it has been in/out of service. That was a sad thought for me.

Next, today I began preparing for memorial service for Lester Parker. Lester passed earlier in the year, but I was asked by his daughter to have the service, something I take honor in.

I was also able to pack a little more of my office up. We are rally getting down to the nitty gritty. This last week or so will be even more difficult, traveling from Ashe to Spruce Pine, with stuff in both places. We are pretty much living out of a bag.

Just Awesome

It's Easter morning. Today is the first Easter that I have missed sunrise service and been in ministry for at least 13 years. It seems strange, but today I work EMS. I walked outside to hear the creek, as we were staying at the Spruce Pine house, and this was the first sight I saw. It's about 7:10 AM, and just before I leave for work, I was listening to Larnell Harris "He Loved me with a Cross", and saw this. Just Awesome!!! What a Saviour that would die for me....but then keep his Promise and return. ONE day He is going to return and all wrongs will be made right.

Working and Moving

A quick Spring snow storm and pulling shifts at Ashe. This was a good day not to be moving. It is really hard to be moving and working so much but it had to be.

From Ashe to Mitchell, its all part of the same Sullivan family.

Below are some pics from my first flight service in Mitchell. A dear lady fell and she refused to be transported, but a few hours later, the result of that fell probably meant a brain bleed, and she was extremely diminished so flight service was requested and granted.

Today, we are loading up another load and taking it to Spruce Pine and I will be back on shift at Mitchell on Easter Sunday.

Moving and Mom

Moving but spending time with Mom. We took a load to Spruce Pine, then took some stuff down to Mom's and hung out for several days. I was sick most of the time, but still enjoyed the down time.
