New position & Carb rebuild

My first Zoom meeting with Faith Health. I accepted the position of Connector for Ashe County after speaking to the DOM. The requirement is to work up to 8 hours work connecting clients to resources. It's a lot like Community Paramedic, just not with the medical side of it. The DOM advised me that if he does not hire someone, he will lose the funding, and most of the work will come with just a couple of hours with 4he client, and then the rest online or phone. 

My buddy, Tommy Michaels, came over and rebuilt the carbs on the Shadow. He only charged me $100. I'm ready to ride, but it has either been raining or I've been at work. Go figure. 

 

WBC Annual Picnic

Each year our church has an annual picnic. It has been in several formats in the past but this time we were at Lansing Park. I'm pretty sure we will be back here!!! 

 

Sharing & Caring

A group of us from Ashe Medics assisted the Sharing Center in handing out food. I believe this is a bi-monthly thing. To be up front, we were paid for our services, but in the past I have volunteered. 

 

SWAT

Here is the new MWRAP obtained by the Ashe county Sheriff's Department in preparing for their new SWAT team. Sad, but yes, it is becoming necessary.
