Just Enough
Just Enough
Life is a Journey. We simply put one foot in front of the other. Life is compared to a walk in Scripture. Consider these Scriptures for a moment and meditate on them.
Romans 6:4 – “We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in the newness of life.”
2 Cor 5:7 — “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
Galatians 5:16 — “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”
Colossians 2:6 — “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him.”
1 John 2:6 — “Whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.”
Perhaps that is why we are able, or at least I am, able to think and meditate more clearly when I am walking. I have also found that to be true. One foot in front of the other. Could be a short walk, could be a long walk. Could be uphill or downhill or both. Could be sunny and warm or rain/snow and cold.
The point is this; we WALK by putting one foot in front of the other. We call them steps. In Proverbs 30:7-9 we read of Agur as he speaks to two other gentement. Here is a portion of what he said as he spoke his prayer to God;
Two things I request of You
(Deprive me not before I die):
Remove falsehood and lies far from me;
Give me neither poverty nor riches —
Feed me with the food allotted to me;
Lest I be full and deny You,
And say, “Who is the Lord?”
Or lest I be poor and steal,
And profane the name of my God
Let me Live/Walk in the Truth
A great place to start. He wanted to be a man marked by the Truth.
I think he was specifically pertaining to the subject he mentions next. Lies of the rich and lies of the poor.
I could of course be wrong about this, there are certainly others that place a different meaning, but I think this certainly could be the case.
Consider the rich man, (or even us today in the middle class- we really don’t have a lot of needs.) We rely on our savings account and investments, or retirement. We have lost the idea of trusting God in every step of life. (We could certainly spend some time on this and actually you should.)
Let me live with Just Enough
So, I was led to this thought first thing, Just Enough.
“Give me neither poverty nor riches” Again, we see the idea of too much or not enough.
It’s the same idea of time or to be more specific, God’s Timing. Too early, we can't rely on Him. Too late, we cannot rely on Him, therefore, God is always on time. God is also always just enough and more than enough.
The writer states, “I don’t want to be rich or poor”. Just give me what I need, or in other words, “Give me just enough”.
Same with us as we consider our lives and our time in which we are alive.
Conclusion: Of course there are so many ideas I could dive into, but this thought is just enough to help us consider our reliance upon God. In our Walk of Life, we know that in every step, God sometimes give us just enough to make that next ste

Dog Parks & Decisions
Things have a way of changing when Kids are involved.
There will be much to do here to get ready for them, so i better get started. Some things are
- Dig new electric line and hook on to upper shed (30 AMP) and run it down to the lower lot, with an RV plug. This takes power away from the upper building and the additional plug I put outside.
- I think I can run a water hose above ground to the camper. (Would be nice to run some PEX underground. We'll see about that. This water will be Pre Filter.
- Sewer - This will be the hardest. I will need to pick the spot, Dig a hole for a 250 container, run lines from that to the input junction. Then, hook on the container with some drain lines. I will have to rent a small digger to accomplish this.
