Finally feeling better

It feels so good to feel good again. The Covid is behoind me, and TC, and we are back to doing some things. Actually, I am a bit behind, but I'm catching up. Lord, bless those who have it!

Covid 19 Update/Pictures

OK, so that didn't work out to good. I relapsed and ended up with two ER visits, one in an ambulance.

My friend Bradley hooked me while in the Er with great snacks and in the cup was some kind of cake he made. Delicious!

For days I had to remain on O2. For sure this was the worse experience of my life. BUT, thank God for friends. First, our church family. Folks were checking everyday and through coordination by Doris, fed us each and everyday. So, Linda W., Cheryl and Geraldine, Judy, Alex and Crystal, Jim and Barbara, Larry L., Karen & Matt, Janet J., and so many others. I mean they kept us fed and it was so helpful. Check out this spread of food and also cards from several of the boys...

So, anyway, after 21 days of quarantine, 18 of those being sick, I think I am over this stuff now. OF course TC got it to, but it has not got into her lungs like mine. Hopefully, she had turned the corner.

The Covid and Me

I was not able to make it until Monday for my test. I started getting sick on Thursday and by that evening I was what I thought full blown. On Friday, my temp has risen 2 degrees so I figured it must be. so, I went to the health dept and was tested by a good friend. Boy, just like a flu test, that is rough. 10 minutes later, I was told I lit up like a Christmas tree. I am Positive! Friday night was really rough, but today I feel a little better. The headache and body aches are the toughest for me. My heart breaks for those who do not make it or ones who have been affected so much worse than me. I am in isolation now until Monday a week, which means we will have to have virtual church this coming Sunday. We will be broadcasting live Sunday at 10 AM to Facebook Live and my YouTube channel. I have much to do, but I am thankful I did not have it too bad.

Quarantine

I went and done it! So, I went in and worked on the ambulance on this past Sunday night. On Monday morning, after a pretty tough night, my partner felt bad and got tested, and it was positive. So, out of abundance of caution and per guidelines, I went into quarantine and will get tested next Monday. It sucks because I can't do all the things I usually do. No medic, no church office time, no chaplain at ACSO, no responded to WFD calls or anything. I so hope I test negative, but so far so good.
